The party ticket allows you to enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4:00 PM, even if you don’t have a regular park ticket for that day. The party officially begins at 7:00 PM and runs until midnight, giving you plenty of time to enjoy all the festivities.
During the party, you’ll be treated to a variety of special holiday entertainment, including stage shows, parades, and fireworks displays. You’ll also have the chance to meet some of your favorite Disney characters, who will be dressed in their holiday best.

Is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party worth it?

Entertainment
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party offers a variety of entertainment options that are exclusive to the event. From the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade to the Holiday Wishes fireworks show, there’s plenty to see and do. You’ll also have the chance to meet rare characters in their holiday attire and enjoy live performances. If you’re a fan of holiday entertainment, the party may be worth it for you.
Snacks and Treats
During the party, you’ll have access to exclusive holiday treats and snacks. From gingerbread cookies to hot cocoa, there’s something for everyone. If you’re a foodie or enjoy trying new treats, the party may be worth it for you.
Crowds
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a ticketed event, which means the park will be less crowded than usual. However, keep in mind that the party is still popular and can get crowded. Don’t expect drastically lower crowds or wait times.
Cost
Tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party typically range from $159-$199 for adults and $149-$189 for children.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party with Children
The biggest factor for families is the late hours. If you have young kids that will struggle to stay out late (or can’t stay out late at all), then the party may not be a good fit. While a few hours at the party can be fun, because of the crowds, it will be difficult to accomplish a lot of what the party has to offer if you need to leave by 9 pm for bed time.

If you want to get a good spot for these events, be sure to plan ahead and arrive early.
The same goes for popular character meets, such as Jack and Sally. On nights when the Christmas Party is sold out, certain attractions and events can feel like a normal crowded park day, so keep that in mind when you set your expectations and plans for what you want to accomplish.

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party
If you want to make your experience at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party even more special, consider booking the Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party. This special event includes reserved seating for the fireworks, as well as a dessert party with holiday treats. Keep in mind that this is an additional cost and requires a separate reservation.
There are two options available, one at Tomorrowland Terrace ($119 per adult and $75 per child) and one at Plaza Garden ($109 per adult and $59 per child).
The Tomorrowland Terrace opens 1 hour before the fireworks begin and includes a desert buffet and beverages (including beer and wine). You will then be escorted to a prime seating area in the hub grass for priority viewing of the fireworks.
The Plaza Garden opens 1.5 hours before the fireworks begin and includes a desert buffet and beverages (including beer and wine). You will then be escorted to a prime standing area in the East Plaza Garden for priority viewing of the fireworks.
In our experience, if you have small children or would otherwise have difficulty holding a fireworks spot for a long period of time before the fireworks begin, the party is a great way to maximize your time and get excellent seating without having to deal with the crowds.
We love the fireworks dessert party for Happily Ever After and try to do it once per trip, if possible. Because we have small kids, it makes staying out late for the fireworks a lot more manageable.
