Bluey Comes to Animal Kingdom: Virtual Queue, Food, Merch, and Real Australian Animals

Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station opens at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on May 26, 2026 and it’s not just a meet-and-greet! The new experience will include real Australian animals, interactive games, Bluey-themed food, and a dreaded virtual queue (but honestly, it’s probably for the best).

How the Virtual Queue Works

There is no standby line at opening, you have to join a virtual queue through the My Disney Experience app to experience Bluey’s Wild World, the Wildlife Express Train, Jumping Junction, and Animal Care at Conservation Station.

There are two windows to secure spots:

  • 7:00 a.m.: Valid admission required (plus a park reservation if applicable). You do NOT need to be inside Animal Kingdom yet.
  • 10:00 a.m.: Valid admission required AND you must already be inside Animal Kingdom.

Disney says a standby queue will open at a later date (I’m skeptical).

What to Expect Inside Bluey’s Wild World

The Experience at Conservation Station

Once you’re in, the experience brings Bluey and Bingo to life through their family’s famous games (think Keepy Uppy and Magic Asparagus) set against an animal-themed backdrop. It wraps up with a bubble shower finale.

Conservation Station also brings back crowd favorites like the Veterinary Treatment Room, Animal Nutrition Window, Amphibian/Reptile/Invertebrate Windows, and the Science Center.

Jumping Junction: Real Australian Animals

This is the part I think families are going to love, especially those that appreciate the history of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Jumping Junction is a new shared habitat where you can see actual kangaroos and wallabies straight from Bluey’s home country. It’s a cool tie-in that gives the whole experience real educational weight that only Disney can offer.

Food, Merch, and Everything Else

Bluey-Themed Food and Drinks

You’ll find Bluey-inspired items across the park, with the main spots being Pizzafari and Isle of Java on Discovery Island. Highlights include:

  • Fairy Bread Cake โ€” Vanilla Birthday Cake dipped in White Chocolate with Rainbow Sprinkles and Raspberry Dipping Sauce (Pizzafari)
  • Wackadoo Fruit Freeze โ€” Simply Fruit Punch frozen, garnished with Fruit Salad (Pizzafari)
  • Bluey’s Berry Lemonade โ€” Frozen Minute Maid Lemonade blended with Blueberry, Blackberry, and Raspberry (Pizzafari and Eight Spoon Cafรฉ)
  • Pretzel’s Pretzels โ€” Soft mini pretzels with cheese and blueberry-mustard sauces (Isle of Java)
  • Bluey Sipper โ€” Oversized souvenir cup, limit 2 per transaction while supplies last

Merchandise

Bluey merch will be available at Island Mercantile on Discovery Island and at Conservation Station. The lineup includes youth and adult apparel, with plush headbands and a Create Your Own plush both arriving later this summer.

My kids have watched every episode of Bluey multiple times and the games from the show are things we actually play in real life. The fact that Disney is leaning into the show’s actual content instead of just slapping Bluey in the parks for a character meet is special. That matters. It means the kids who know and love the show are going to feel it.

Do I wish they built the Heeler House or went a bit more “all-in”? Of course.

The virtual queue situation is real and you need to take it seriously. Virtual Queues were some of the most complained about attraction features for over a year. Particularly on Guardians of the Galaxy. While Disney says they anticipate a standby queue later, we’ve mentioned on the podcast multiple times that demand for this area of the park is going to be insane. I’m skeptical we will see a standby queue anytime soon.

The Jumping Junction addition with real kangaroos and wallabies is the detail I keep coming back to. It would have been easy for Disney to just do a character experience and call it a day. Instead they connected it to something real that matters to the originations of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Australian animals, conservation, science. That’s Animal Kingdom doing what Animal Kingdom does best.

I’m genuinely looking forward to experiencing this one firsthand and I’ll report back with the full honest take after I visit.ย
