Founder, Travel Agent with the Magic For Less Travel

I’m Matt Brandabur, a lawyer, travel agent with The Magic for Less Travel and creator of Adventures of a Disney Dad. I’m the main writer, podcast host and photographer here on the site.

I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Tourism Management.

My journey with travel and Disney largely began with a trip to Disneyland in 2008 as a member of the University of Illinois Football Rosebowl Team.

My interest in Disney destinations grew when I found my love for running after graduating law school. The marriage of running and Disney started with the Walt Disney World Marathon and has continued since. I enjoy participating in races for charity, including prior marathons raising thousands of dollars for Noah’s Light Foundation and Give Kids the World.

When not running or planning clients’ dream vacations, you can often find me enjoying a Dole Whip or Butterbeer with my wife, Lauren, and three children.

I am a Disney Authorized Vacation Planner affiliated with The Magic For Less Travel and a graduate of The College of Disney Knowledge and is certified as a Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando Resort Specialist.

Who knew travel blogging would become a family business? A graduate of the University of Illinois and mother of 3, Lauren enjoys researching and writing many helpful articles on Adventures of a Disney Dad from strollers to product reviews to help families maximize their vacations.

When she’s not chasing her kids or testing new products, she’s riding the Peloton or enjoying a book and a coffee.
