Walt Disney World Height Requirements: What Kids Can Ride at Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World can be great for the whole family, but some attractions require a certain height to keep small children safe.  Families with young children will be glad to know that many attractions have no height requirements!  Your whole family can enjoy attractions together.

Below is a list of all current attractions with height requirements at Walt Disney World, as well as the attractions that have no heigh requirement. You can even download our free Disney Height Requirements chart to help with your planning.

How Do Height Requirements at Walt Disney World Work?

When you have a child in your party that looks close to the height requirement, a cast member will measure your child to see if the child meets the height requirement. This will happen at any ride you go to that has a height requirement.

If they are tall enough, your whole party will be able to ride. If they fall short of the requirement then you will be given a Rider Swap. The Rider Swap allows one adult to stay back with the children who can’t ride. After the party rides, the adult who stayed back can then “swap” and ride with one member of the group that already rode the attraction.
