Where to Meet Cinderella at Walt Disney World (2025)

If you’re planning a Disney World vacation and your child dreams of meeting Cinderella at Walt Disney World, you’re not alone. As a Disney dad and travel planner, Iโ€™ve helped countless families find those unforgettable character moments and Iโ€™ve stood in plenty of those lines myself. In this guide, Iโ€™ll walk you through exactly where and how to meet Cinderella at Walt Disney World, what to expect, and how to make the most of every second.

Where to Meet Cinderella at Walt Disney World

The *only* theme park at Walt Disney World where you are guaranteed an opportunity to meet Cinderella is Magic Kingdom. Cinderella is not present in character meets at Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom. She sometimes appears during character appearances at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT, but it’s not a guarantee she will be a visiting princess.

Let’s breakdown the easiest ways to see Cinderella at Magic Kingdom.

Princess Fairytale Hall (Magic Kingdom)

Princess Fairytale Hall is a traditional meet-and-greet location in Fantasyland. Cinderella is often paired with another princess here, which currently includes random rotating princesses after the removal of Elena of Avalor from the experience.

The line moves quickly, but this is one of the most popular character experiences at Walt Disney World. You should plan for the line and experience to take 30 minutes to an hour on average, and PhotoPass is available. This is one of the easiest ways to get one-on-one time with Cinderella without booking a meal.

There is no Lightning Lane availability for the Cinderella Meet and Greet in Magic Kingdom.

Tips:

  • Wait times tend to be shorter earlier in the day or during parades.
  • Cast Members at the entrance can usually confirm who is inside, but not always.

Cinderellaโ€™s Royal Table (Magic Kingdom)

The most iconic place to meet Cinderella is inside her castle. Cinderellaโ€™s Royal Table is a character dining experience located in the heart of Magic Kingdom, within Cinderella’s Castle. When you book breakfast, lunch, or dinner here, your family gets a photo with Cinderella.

Cinderella greets guests in the entrance lobby, but she doesnโ€™t typically come to tables during the meal. Other princesses like Ariel, Snow White, and Aurora usually handle the dining room rotations. If seeing Cinderella is the priority, make sure your child spends time with her in the lobby before youโ€™re called upstairs.

Tips:

  • Reservations open 60 days in advance at 6 AM Eastern. They go fast.
  • Breakfast is typically the most affordable and easiest to book (dinner during the fireworks is the hardest).
  • PhotoPass is available during the Cinderella meet-and-greet in the lobby.

Special Events and Seasonal Appearances

Cinderella sometimes appears during special ticketed events like Mickeyโ€™s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickeyโ€™s Very Merry Christmas Party. These meet-and-greets are not always listed in advance and can change based on the night.

You may also spot her in parades or cavalcades throughout the year. While you canโ€™t stop for a photo during those, theyโ€™re still worth seeing for the moment alone.

Tips:

  • If youโ€™re attending a special event, pick up the event map to find character locations.
  • Arrive early. Popular princesses tend to draw long lines during parties.

How to Plan Your Cinderella Meet-and-Greet

Once you know where to find her, the next step is making sure the experience runs smoothly. Hereโ€™s what to keep in mind when planning your childโ€™s Cinderella moment.

Best Times to Meet Cinderella

If youโ€™re visiting Princess Fairytale Hall, aim for early morning right after park opening or during the afternoon parade when lines are shorter. Wait times can climb quickly mid-morning and stay high through the afternoon.

For Cinderellaโ€™s Royal Table, youโ€™ll want to grab a dining reservation as close to the 60-day mark as possible. Breakfast tends to be the most available, but the earliest times of the day fill up fast. Set an alarm for 5:55 AM Eastern and be logged into My Disney Experience before reservations open.

For seasonal events, Cinderella meet-and-greets often begin right when the party starts. Lines will be shortest in the first hour or right before the end of the night.

What to Bring

To get the most out of the interaction, come prepared:

  • Autograph book and pen (sharpies are easier for characters in gloves)
  • Camera or smartphone (PhotoPass is available)
  • Costumes or accessories for your child, especially if they want to dress like Cinderella
  • Stroller fan or water bottle for hot days if youโ€™re waiting in line

Character Dining vs. Traditional Meet-and-Greet

Both options offer a chance to meet Cinderella, but theyโ€™re very different experiences.

Cinderellaโ€™s Royal Table:

  • Includes a guaranteed photo with Cinderella
  • More relaxed atmosphere and no waiting in a long queue
  • Expensive

Princess Fairytale Hall:

  • Included with park admission
  • Quick interaction, usually under 5 minutes
  • You may wait 30 minutes or more

f youโ€™re on a tighter budget or just want the photo and autograph, Fairytale Hall is a great option.

Other Princesses You Can Meet at Magic Kingdom

While Cinderella may be the star of your child’s Disney dreams, she’s not the only royal you can meet during your visit. Magic Kingdom is home to several other princesses, and planning ahead can help you see more than one without spending your whole day in line.

At Princess Fairytale Hall, Cinderella often shares space with another princess. These pairings rotate, and Cast Members wonโ€™t always confirm who is inside ahead of time, so check the My Disney Experience app or ask at the entrance.

Other popular princesses at Magic Kingdom include:

  • Ariel at her Grotto in Fantasyland
  • Belle at Enchanted Tales with Belle
  • Occasional surprise appearances during parades and cavalcades

If your child is hoping to meet multiple princesses, check out our Complete Character Guide for Magic Kingdom or visit our Walt Disney World Character Hub for up-to-date locations, tips, and planning tools for every princess in the parks.

These posts break down where to find each princess, how to plan for them, and what to expect from each interaction.

Meeting Cinderella can be a highlight of your Walt Disney World trip, especially for young kids who have dreamed of this moment for years.

Plan ahead, know your options, and take the time to enjoy the moment when it comes. These are the memories that stick.
