Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 Dates Are Here — And Tickets Go on Sale Soon

Disney just dropped the full 2026 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party date lineup, and tickets go on sale soon! If this party is on your radar (and it should be) now is the time to start planning before your preferred date sells out.

2026 Party Dates

The party runs August 7 through October 31 on select nights only. Not every night is a party night, so you have to be intentional about which date you book around.

  • August: 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30
  • September: 1, 4, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29
  • October: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31

In August and September, party nights mostly fall on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. October gets denser  with nearly every Thursday, most Fridays, Tuesdays, and Sundays with Halloween itself landing on a Saturday this year.

When Can You Buy Tickets?

Ticket prices vary by date while earlier dates in August tend to be cheaper, and dates closer to Halloween get more expensive. Here’s the buying window you need to know:

  • May 5: Tickets available for Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests, Swan and Dolphin, and Shades of Green
  • May 12: Tickets available for everyone else
  • Annual Passholders and DVC Members get discounts again this yea

Party guests can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM, giving you up to 8 hours of access before and during the event. The official party starts at 7:00 PM.

What’s Changing With MNSSHP 2026 Prices

Ticket prices for the 2026 party range from $119 to $229 depending on the date you choose.

Like every year, pricing is date-based. The closer you get to Halloween, the more expensive the ticket. If budget is a factor, booking an August date is going to save you real money compared to a late October night.

What’s New and Returning in 2026

The biggest new addition this year is a Stitch-hosted dance party at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. Lilo and Angel are along for the ride, and the theme shifts throughout the night depending on which costume accessory Stitch pulls from Lilo’s Costume Trunk.

The fan favorites are all back and if you’ve never seen them, these are worth the ticket price alone:

  • Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade at 8:15 PM (great timing for families with little kids)
  • Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular featuring the Sanderson Sisters and Disney Villains
  • Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show narrated by Jack Skellington
  • Cadaver Dans returning for their beloved barbershop harmonies

What This Means for Families Planning a Trip

Trick-or-treating is a massive draw for families with younger kids. Disney gives out handfuls of Mars Wrigley candy at over a dozen stops around the park, and complimentary treat bags are provided so don’t stress if you forget a pumpkin bucket. Kids don’t have to be in costume to collect candy, but costumes are encouraged.

Exclusive character meet-and-greets include Jack Skellington and Sally, Mickey and Minnie in Halloween costumes, Pooh in his bumblebee costume, and festive royal couples like Ariel and Eric. Disney Villains also make surprise appearances throughout the evening. A full character guide is coming soon from Disney — I’ll share any updates that when it drops.

Bottom line: popular dates — especially anything in late October — will sell out. If you’re building a trip around MNSSHP, lock in your dates and get your tickets the moment they’re available.

As a dad who’s taken his kids to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary multiple times, this party is one of the few Disney upcharges I genuinely think is worth it for families with younger kids. The trick-or-treating alone is a blast my kids still talk about hauling in candy around every corner of Magic Kingdom. It’s a totally different energy than a regular park day, and in a good way.

If you’re planning to skip the party, but still want to hit Magic Kingdom, wait times are historically low during the day of a party, with data to back it up.

The new Stitch dance party in Tomorrowland sounds like a fun addition, especially for families who’ve already done the party before and want something fresh.

My honest advice: don’t wait on tickets. I’ve watched clients miss their preferred October dates because they hesitated too long. If you know you want to go, mark May 5 or May 12 on your calendar right now and be ready to buy. The early August dates are usually the best value if your schedule is flexible, just be ready for a little rain.
