Should You Still Use Multi Pass On a Christmas Party Day at Magic Kingdom?
Yes. Even with an early closing, Multi Pass matters. Shorter hours don’t mean you can skip it. In fact, Multi Pass actually helps more on a party day because you’re trying to keep your momentum without wasting time in long lines and there is less Lightning Lane competition.
On the podcast, I mentioned that I wouldn’t take my kids to Disney without Lightning Lanes or MultiPass. Party day or not, it’s how you control the pace of your day and avoid meltdowns.
Multi Pass goes further on a party day because demand is lower. You move through your selections faster, and you may even pick up more same day options than you expect. If you want ideal holiday picks, start with Jingle Cruise since its holiday overlay pulls long lines, Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Multi Pass isn’t about cramming the whole park into a shorter day. It’s about keeping the experience smooth and enjoyable. And it works perfectly.
Where To Go After Magic Kingdom Closes At 6
Once the party starts, your day isn’t over. You’ve already hit the best part of the park. Now you get to shift into a laid back evening that still feels magical. Here are the options:
A. Resort Dinner and Pool Time
This is the easiest choice with kids. After a full day, heading back to your resort for dinner and a late swim feels perfect and enjoy the holiday decorations.
B. Disney Springs
Disney Springs is a great second half of the day if you want the night to keep going. The Christmas Tree Stroll, Santa through the virtual queue, snacks, and shopping all feel festive without the park crowds. It keeps the holiday feeling alive without stress (or cost).
C. Park Hop (If You Have Park Hopper)
If you want hit another park, by all means, park hopping is ideal. EPCOT gives you fireworks, Hollywood Studios gives you Fantasmic! It’s a great way to balance out getting a lot done at one park, while finishing with a nighttime show at another.
