Test Track presented by General Motors is set to reopen on July 22, 2025, with a fresh look and feel that promises a totally new experience. This beloved attraction will debut a brand-new musical score and scenes that showcase the technology making our vehicles smarter and hopefully (for us at least) a lot more realistic and aesthetically pleasing.
My created vehicles were always a hot mess, so here’s to hoping you have better luck.
What’s New at Test Track?
Here’s what we can expect based on what we know so far:
- New Ride Vehicles and track
- New Musical Score
- Innovative Scenes: Guests will journey through scenes that highlight how vehicles use advanced cameras and sensors to navigate the world around them, represented with over 29,000 points of light.
When and Where?
The official reopening date for Test Track is July 22, 2025.
Special Preview Opportunities
Before the grand reopening, special previews will be available for cast members, Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, Golden Oak residents, and Club 33 Members. Dates are to be announced.
Why It Matters for Your Family Trip
Test Track represents another top tier attraction at EPCOT and its return should help balance crowds (and multipass). Expect it to positively impact wait times on Guardians of the Galaxy, Frozen Ever After, Soarin and Remy’s!
